HARDYS THE RIDDLE? SANGIOVESE-SHIRAZ
An unusual combination of the more delicate Sangiovese with the more robust Shiraz. Fruit from servral regions including McLaren Vale, Riverland and Langhorne Creek make up the major part of this blend. Fermented and aged in stainless steel with some oak contact. On the palate the spicy, peppery character of the Shiraz combines perfectly with the cherry-plum flavours of Sangiovese. This is backed on the finish by a delicate hint of oak.
