Please note that delivery within the UK Off-Shore areas (Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highland & Islands, I.O.M.) a 48 hour service applies and we are unable to offer the before noon service to these areas. Orders placed for the £5.99 Next Working Day Delivery can be placed Monday - Friday at 16.00 hrs (GMT). Orders placed after 16.00 hrs (GMT) on a Friday will be despatched on the following Monday for delivery on the following Tuesday. If however your order is urgent please call our Sales Team on 0870 700 0093 and we will do our utmost to assist.
You also have the option to specify a delivery date in advance if you wish to upgrade from the next working day service upon checkout. For instance, next day before noon.You can also select a Saturday delivery, if this order is placed no later than before 15.00 hrs (GMT) on the Friday before the intended Saturday delivery.
You can easily select your delivery option upon placing your order from a drop down box when you check out.
As a security measure, a signature is required on receipt of delivery so it is important there is someone there at the selected delivery address to sign for your parcel.
The couriers will make 2 automatic attempts to deliver & If the recipient is out when our courier attempts delivery, a card is posted through the letterbox advising the recipient that we have attempted delivery and that either:
- Goods have be left with a neighbour. Flowers, Fruit Baskets & certain food Hampers/Baskets may be left SAFE due to their perishable nature.
- To telephone the Courier to organise re-delivery the next working day to the original address.
- To collect the goods from the local Couriers depot if items are held after the intial first 2 attempts
We do not normally carry out Sunday deliveries.
All Gift UK Mainalnd consignments are fully insured for damage or loss in transit, All Export consignments including off-shore are fully insured for damage or loss in transit however we are not insured if for whatever reason the customs department of the destination country decide for whatever reason to impound the goods.(More relevant to Worldwide "long-haul" destinations). We cannot be held liable for any loss including consequential loss if a gift does not arrive on a specific date and/or time.
We cannot be held liable if, through no fault of our own or our couriers, we are unable to deliver your gift on a specific date and/or time. We are not responsible for the reliability or otherwise of the overseas postal/courier services.
We are not liable for the payment of import or export duties, if goods are impounded by the Authorities of the country to which you are sending, payment of those duties are your's or the recipients responsibility.
