Pommery Brut Royal is the emblematic cuvée of the Pommery house, the heart of the Pommery style with these key words: freshness , liveliness, finesse.

It comes from a traditional Champagne blend composed of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

Coming from 40 selected villages of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims and other Champagne regions where the climate contributes to the liveliness and delicacy of the grapes.

EYE - Pale yellow with slight green reflections. The effervescence is delicate, a bubble of beautiful finesse and strong vivacity.

NOSE - Lively, fresh, fine and delicate. Notes of citrus and white flowers combined with those of small red fruits.

MOUTH - Elegant, lively, the small notes of red fruits assert themselves. The wine is round, ample, delicate, and of good length. 

ABOUT POMMERY
After making a fortune in the wool industry, in 1856, Mr Pommery was in fragile health and decided to retire from business and enjoy a quiet life. His son Louis was no longer a child. Mr Pommery and his wife did not have any special plans. They simply wanted to enjoy a well-deserved retirement. But destiny had other things in store for them? Madame Pommery discovered she was expecting a child, at the age of 38. This miraculous pregnancy, more than 17 years after her first, would change their lives forever. To provide for his baby daughter, Mr Pommery decided to go back into business. But the wool industry was in crisis. However, the champagne trade was booming.
