Monte Real Tinto Crianza Bodegas Riojanas 75cl - Spanish Red Wine

Red wine with a modern profile for a traditional origin that pays tribute to the Cenicero vineyards. Cherry red in color with violet reflections. On the nose, high aromatic intensity, giving rise to a clear expression of fresh red fruits, berries and liquorice stick. On the palate it offers flavors of red fruits and berries along with spicy and smoky tones, it is subtle, enveloping and fresh. The tactile sensations show the excellent combination of the wood without covering up the varietal characteristics of the Tempranillo.

100% Tempranillo grapes from vineyards in Cenicero.

Elaboration

Classical vinification with destalked, crushed grapes, using new fermentation technology, with a long maceration period in order to achieve greater extaction.

Aging

Aged for 18 months in new American oak casks with appropriately-timed rackings. Aged in the bottle for at least 6 motnhs before being put on the market.

Tasting notes

From a sensorial point of view, Monte Real Crianza follows the style demanded by today´s consumers: more colour, more fruity and more potency. Intense colour, delicate fresh aromas that maintain the fruitiness and expression of the grape variety and the terroir, beautifully blending with ageing notes in harmony and balance. In the mouth, its body and potency are perfectly offset by the smoothness and elegance typical of great Riojas.
