A wine that fully lives up to its lofty reputation, it's largely composed of Tempranillo with small additions of Graciano, Mazuelo and Garnacha which are the other main red varieties seen in Rioja. The two years it spends in a mix of French and American oak have softened it nicely making it a really delicious wine with wonderful vanilla and dark fruits on the nose, following through with rich fruit cake flavours on the palate.

Elegant, balanced and complex this is one of the most famous Rioja Reservas of the lot. A classic Reserva, game, roasts, casseroles or strong mature cheese make great food pairings.
