Fifty Pounds Gin pays homage to London’s rich gin history, taking its name from the 1736 Gin Act, which imposed a Fifty Pounds annual licence fee on gin production. Though the Act failed to curb the gin craze, it inspired the creation of this exceptionally smooth London Dry Gin. Crafted using traditional methods, Fifty Pounds Gin is distilled in small batches, with no shortcuts taken in the sourcing of the finest botanicals and triple-filtering for optimum smoothness. The bottle design is based on the classic ‘case gin’ shape from the Georgian era, adding a historic touch to this modern gin. Each bottle bears its individual distillation batch number, reflecting the care and attention given to every bottle produced.
