Tsarine Rose NV 75cl Champagne

Tsarine Rose Brut 75cl from Chanoine Freres, Champagne's second oldest house dating back to 1730.   Cuvee Tsarine was created in honour of the Russian Empire which in the 19th Century was the prominent export market for Champagne and the bottle design reflects the swirling spires of St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow.

34% Chardonnay
33% Miller
33% Pinot Noir (mostly from Les Riceys)

Dosage 8 g/l
Cellar aging for a minimum of 24 months
Tasting temperature between 8°C and 10°C

TASTING
The ruby ??pink color of this cuvée appeals with its deep intensity and exquisite brilliance. A delicate effervescence of lively and generous bubbles carries this cuvée in a joyful and airy burst of gluttony. The scents and flavors mingle in an aromatic whirlwind of red fruits with notes of strawberries, currants and blackcurrants. The meticulous balance brings power and structure to this cuvée. The finish is long, tangy and remarkably fresh.
