Villa Marcello was built at the end of the 17th century by the Tiepolo family, as a shooting lodge in the middle of a large forest. This Rose Prosecco is produced at the Villa Marcello estate near Treviso, the homeland of Prosecco. It is made using the indigenous grape variety Glera. The nose opens up with strawberry and red cherry notes, on the palate the wine is light bodied and has a refreshing acidity that makes it perfect for an aperitif.
