The Neveu's family roots run deep in the region of the Loire Valley. They have been recorded in the village of Verdigny, which is right in the heart of Sancerre, since the 12th century.
There have been grapevines there since the 19th century. However, they were destroyed and were only regrown after the end of WWII and wine growing regained an important place in the domaine.
