Lanson Le Black Creation replaces the Lanson Black label Burt New for 2023 onwards.  The Creation 257 is the fruit of a blend based on the 2017 harvest, a year marked by the variety of climate events. This unusual weather led to early harvests and a great diversity throughout the region, emphasising the importance of the single-parcel approach taken by the House. Le Black Creation 257 blend is dominated by Pinots Noirs, some from the Montagne de Reims with their distinctive character, perfectly blended with the delectable, fruity flavour of others from the Aube. The Chardonnays–the runaway success of the 2017 harvest–show a remarkable elegance and freshness, while the Pinots Meuniers from the Vallee de la Marne boast generosity and suppleness.
