The second release from Macallan Edition Series, Edition No.2 is a collaboration between master blender Bob Delgarno and the legendary Roca brothers. This single malt was drawn from a combination of European and American oak casks.
Nose: Mocha, brown sugar, a spark of ginger and some oak-y warmth.
Palate: Notes of Sherried raisins and dried citrus peels develop, a hint of vegetal oak. Still a little chocolate-y.
Finish: Spiced fruit cake and lemon peels.
